Cebu Pacific advisory on Bangkok flights
Posted on May 24, 2010
Cebu Pacific (CEB) continues its Bangkok service from Manila and Clark. Please be advised, however, that the Thai government has declared a curfew in Bangkok and nearby areas from 9pm until 5am local time.
Cebu Pacific guests arriving in and departing from Bangkok will simply have to present their passports and flight itinerary or tickets at various checkpoints in the city.
Guests arriving in Bangkok may also stay at the airport to wait for the curfew to be lifted at 5am. The airport authority has provided basic accommodations for travelers at the Arrival Hall East in the Suvarnabhumi Airport. Simply ask airport crew upon landing for directions.
Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific also provides options for those traveling to Bangkok from Manila and Clark on Cebu Pacific (CEB) from May 13 to 31, 2010. They can:
- Rebook to another date without penalties; only pay for the fare difference
- Reroute to a different destination without penalties, only pay for the fare difference
- Cancel flights without penalty and put value of their booking in a travel fund, for use up to 90 days
