Cebu Pacific’s Christmas Gift: absolutely FREE domestic seats; Free fare and ZERO surcharges for international flights

JG Summit Holdings Inc. airline business unit, Cebu Pacific (CEB), gives an ultimate Christmas present to all of its passengers traveling with no check-in bags (‘Go Lite’) as it offers absolutely free domestic seats while passengers booking international flights will only have to pay for applicable government taxes.

The seat sale will run from December 25 to 26 or until seats are sold out. This is valid for travel from February 1 to March 18, 2009. The airline has allocated more than 100,000 seats as their Christmas offering for all its loyal patrons.

‘Go Lite’ fares are for passengers traveling with no check-in baggage. Passengers with check-in bags just have to add P200.

Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution, said, “Cebu Pacific is giving out these absolutely free seats to thank every Juan for their continued support in 2008 and as a proof of Cebu Pacific’s commitment to offer more low fares in the coming 2009, as we continue to operate more routes and add flights, as we take delivery of brand new aircraft.”

Iyog added, “This is also the first time we are offering international seats at zero fuel and insurance surcharge.”

“We encourage everyone to act fast and book their ‘free’ seats online. This promotion is only available via www.cebupacificair.com or through travel agents using the Amadeus global distribution system.”

Cebu Pacific is the country’s largest domestic carrier with flights to 27, soon to be 32 domestic and 15 international destinations. The airline has operational hubs in Manila, Cebu, Davao, and Clark.

Now in its 13th year, Cebu Pacific has the youngest fleet in the Philippines and one of the youngest in Asia, composed of 10 Airbus A319, nine Airbus A320, and six ATR 72-500 aircraft.

    Please do have some promotions on next year Christmas2009 because my whole family is planning to spend Christmas in Philippine. I always use Cebu Pacific going and back to Philippines, and I really love to ride with you.Now, I am planing to bring my husband and son to Philippines to spend First ever Christmas season with my whole family but the cost is not enough from our budget.     Can u do something to improve your baggage system or whatever you may call it. It is frustrating on our part and most of all the kids whose expecting gift / pasalubong from thier aunt who painstakingly ready all the stuff and just be told that the expected things were left behing in the airport due to some unexplanable delays. Gush! My sister left at early flight of Dec 30 ,08 mla-bac and went gaga after learning that some of her things were not among those brought in the conveyor for owners to claim. Don’t you understand people that a single bag means something to thier owners and some of your personnel well just calmly claim ” oh your not alone , everyday almost 22 bags are left behind ” what a pronouncement. Do something and dont’t tell us were not alone.

    I had tried many many times to book the flight below and payment type was always declined

    Confirmation no. GCZL9H HOLD must be cancelled
    Confirmation no. N6M12J must be cancelled

    I tried 4 or 5 times to book the flight below with my VISA account but was not successful.I also sent a few emails. We were finally successful with finalizing the payment option with Mastercard.

    Please confirm that there will be no bookings made with the VISA number that you have on file.
