Cebu Pacific corporate clients seen to double; airline offers 30% savings

Posted on February 25, 2009

Cebu Pacific (CEB) has opened its reservation system to corporate clients, allowing them primary access to its lowest fares and promotional seat sales, and saving as much as 30 percent.

The booking facility enables corporate clients to directly book their flights and change travel itinerary details on their own.

Cebu Pacific hopes to more than double the number of its corporate and institutional accounts to more than 500 accounts in 2009.

“We expect our revenues to increase by more than double from these accounts,” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific VP for marketing and distribution.

“Given the current economic environment, we see more businesses opting for value-oriented services in order to stay competitive. This is why Cebu Pacific continues to offer the lowest fares in every destination it operates. We are committed to stimulating air travel because we know this is good for every Juan.” Iyog added.

Cebu Pacific will also extend a credit line of up to P1 million to companies that will sign up with the program. Companies will also have direct access to the airline’s route network consisting of 15 cities in Asia and 31 domestic destinations with direct flights from Clark, Cebu, Davao, and Manila.

The airline currently has the youngest fleet in the country, comprised of 21 Airbus A320s and 7ATR aircraft.

This is to respectfully inquire regarding my refund of ticket. Please be informed that i procured a plane ticket from cebu pacific via a Travel Agency here in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, namely Blue Voyage. The booking date was October 7, 2008 with confirmation number PCQV3U and the status confirmed under the name of Marlyds Estardo-Teodoro and Laura Isabel Teodoro. However, due to personal reasons i informed the travel agency blue voyage that I am not anymore availing of the flight and would just like to refund my ticket which i paid in the amount of 2,831.36. The said transaction for refund was made by Ms. Lyn Cedena if I am not mistaken on October 15, 2008. On such date, Ms. Lyn contacted cebu pacific and consequently i was told that Ms. Lyn will just contact me if the refundable amount has already been released. I have inquired from Ms. Lyn from time to time and to date i have been informed that the refund has not yet been released by your airline. It has already been almost 6 months from my last booking and until now the refund is not yet with me. May I be enlightened as to why this is so. I hope your airline can do something about this considering the length of time of such release of refund. How many more months should i wait when the undersigned cannot wait any longer as she will be leaving pampanga anytime now. Due to this late processing of my refund, i have to be frank that the undersigned got her current plane ticket from another airline company. I hope you will take action on this not only because of my cause but also for future action. Thank you very much.

I am surprised to see that my comment dated March 24, 2009 posted in Cebu Pacific Air Philippine’s website on February 25, 2009 is visible to everybody. To give you an update, still no refund. I took that plane ticket in October of 2008, we are now October 2010. I called up Blue Voyage Travel Agency several times, talked with its employee Ms.Lyn Cedena but was informed that Cebu Pacific Air Philippines still failed to release the amount. Since this comment can be read all over the world, I am now calling all officials of Cebu Air Philippines to act now. I am only waiting for a call from Blue Voyage Agency. Though not a big sum to speak of which can buy me a signature dress, still Cebu Pacific Air Philippines has an obligation and duty to return what is due me. I have a right to that refund which was denied to me. Well, it only shows and reflects how the said airline company treats and serves its customers. I will be waiting and watching, and, hopefully, the others too…
