Tagbilaran is an exciting tourist destination filled with natural wonders: The Chocolate Hills is series of over 1,000 small, perfectly shaped brown land formations. The peculiar Philippine tarsier-found only in Bohol and a few other places in the country-is one of the world’s smallest primates. You can also go bird, whale, and dolphin watching from Bohol , as well as travel to beaches and dive spots. The yearly Sandugo festival, held during the whole month of July, is very close to the heart of Bohol. The street dancing competition between towns is intense, and the Miss Bohol Sandugo is a lavish beauty competition that includes production numbers, talent portions, and even text voting!
