Faster, easier online booking with Navitaire
Posted on June 8, 2008
Here’s good news for fickle-minded travelers. Whether you’d like to reschedule your Shanghai holiday or have decided last-minute to stay an extra night in Ho Chi Minh City, Cebu Pacific makes booking or rebooking your trips a breeze thanks to the airline’s new Navitaire system.
“The Navitaire system will allow Cebu Paciifc to offer more functionalities and options. Passengers can now change their flight details or cancel their bookings online,” said Lance Gokongwei, Cebu Pacific President and CEO.
The new system allows you to rectify your travel plans online. This removes the hassle of having to go to a Cebu Pacific ticketing office or call the reservations line. From now on, Cebu Pacific will go completely ticketless, providing passengers with a travel itinerary containing flight details, which they should present upon entry at the airport prior to checking in.
Navitaire is the leading host reservations system provider for most of the low-cost carriers in the world. The system has a user-friendly booking process that lets Cebu Pacific accommodate more passengers online while providing the airline with effective revenue management and accounting tools. “Navitaire will provide us with the ability to offer more options to our passengers. It is an open system that will increase our efficiency and reduce our distribution costs,” added Gokongwei. “This will allow us to continue offering the lowest fares possible.” To take advantage of this faster, easier booking system, click on www.cebupacificair.com

cebu pacific’s online fares are a joke as it is impossible to buy an online ticket using your visa card. how this company manages not to go bankrupt is beyond me. i have sent e mails to find out why my card is not being accepted but they dont bother to reply, lets hope that the maintenance crews do a better job that their office staff and management or lord help us. by the way several of my friends have been trying to buy fares with no success pick your game up

Have successfully booked online a couple of tickets with Cebu Pacific before. These past days, however, I’ve been trying to book my ticket without any success. Wanted to get the discounted airfare and I check each day if the system’s already working, to no avail. Airfare continues to go up as my chosen date of departure gets closer, yet I’m stuck. Something needs to be done with your online booking system. It doesn’t work!
Trying to book flights online with Cebu Pacific was the most frustrating and annoying experience I have ever had with any airline. I often book online with Air Asia, Tiger Airlines, Jetstar, Malaysia Airlines, Cathay Pacific and others but after repeated attempts Cebu declines both of my credit cards. Emails to their office go unanswered and contacting them by phone is difficult to put it mildly. I wanted return flights for 4 Clark to Cebu and I want return Hong Kong to Clark flights every 3 months. But I give up, i’ll use other airlines.
