Cebu Pacific’s new international destination: Kaohsiung, Taiwan

Where can you take a trip on the Love River, go to Lotus Lake, check out Tuntex Skytower or climb the Bang Ping Mountain? Kaohsiung of course, Cebu Pacific’s newest destination. This second largest city in Taiwan is a vibrant port and manufacturing centre, which will also host the World Games in 2009. Direct flights will start on June 7, 2008 and will run three times a week.

“We are very excited with the opening of this new international destination,” says Lance Gokongwei, Cebu Pacific President and CEO. “We are confident that this will stimulate business activities for both the Philippines and Taiwan. Our Manila–Kaohsiung service will also provide better access to the industrial and manufacturing development zones of both countries.”
