Cebu Pacific reduces year-round fare for local, int’l flights

Domestic all-in fares from P288; International fares as low as P299+
Philippines leading domestic airline, Cebu Pacific (CEB) reduces its year-round fares for most of its international routes and all domestic services starting today.
Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution, said, “We want to assure the public that despite the slowdown in the global economy, Cebu Pacific will continue to make air travel a viable option for every Juan. These new fares will also further boost domestic and international tourism and trade.”
The one-way ‘Go Lite’ fare for flights from Manila to Mindanao is at P1,888 all-in. While one-way ‘Go Lite’ fares for flights from Manila to Bacolod, Boracay (Caticlan), Kalibo, Dumaguete, Puerto Princesa, Roxas, Tacloban, and Tagbilaran are at P888 all-in.
Moreover, the P588 all-in one-way ‘Go lite’ fare is available for services from Manila to Busuanga, Cebu, Iloilo, Legaspi, Naga, San Jose (Mindoro), and Tuguegarao.
Intra-Visayas and intra-Mindanao ‘Go Lite’ fares are sold at P888 all-in and P588 all-in. The one-way fare to Laoag is at P288 all-in.
For international services, Cebu Pacific’s one-way ‘Go Lite’ fares for flights from Manila to Macau and Clark to Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and, Bangkok are available at P299.
In addition, the one-way ‘Go lite’ fares from Manila to Bangkok, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore are sold at P799. While ‘Go lite’ fares to Hong Kong and Singapore from both Cebu and Davao are also sold at P799.
The Manila-Shanghai ‘Go lite’ fare is at P1,799. International fares are exclusive of government taxes and applicable surcharges.
Cebu Pacific explained that the ‘Go Lite’ fares are availed by passengers with no check-in luggage. Passengers with check-in bags will just add P200 upon booking.
These new year round fares are non-reroutable, non-refundable, and available on a book and buy basis. Government taxes for international flights may still be refunded.

A month ago you published in the Manila Daily Bulletin a Go Lite Fare Domestic All in.One of the routes mentioned is Cebu to Cagayan de Oro of which One way is only 788 all in. The other route mentioned is Cebu to Dipolog or Ozamis all in.
Yesterday, I bought a ticket for three persons but I was made to pay nine hundred forty nine pesos & l2 centavos for each of the 3 passenger. The teller told me there’s no such thing you published 788 pesos all in for Cebu to Cagayan de Oro. I intended to buy also the 988 pesos all in for the Cebu Dipolog route for same 3 passengers and once again your teller told there’s no such 988 pesos all in lite fare to Dipolog from Cebu; so I decided not to buy anymore.
Please, clarify this matter to me so that I would not be thinking that what you publish Go Lite Fare in the Newspaper is only a sales trick to induce people to go to your ticket office in Cebu to avail of a cheap fare. I regret this comment so much, but it is really utterly disgusting to drive to your ticket office at Robinsons only to be dismayed by your teller.
