Cebu Pacific thanks public; offers more than 50,000 seats online absolutely free

Low fare leader Cebu Pacific (CEB) celebrates its continued domestic market leadership by offering more than 50,000 domestic seats at absolutely zero all-in fares for guests traveling with no check-in bags (‘Go Lite’).

The seat sale will run from the evening of September 19 up to September 21 or until sold out and is valid for travel from October 16 to December 17, 2008.

Passengers with no check-in luggage can readily avail of this absolute zero domestic seat sale. On the other hand, passengers with check-in luggage will only pay P200 all-in.

Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution, said, “The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) released the domestic passenger carriage numbers for the first half of the year and Cebu Pacific came out on top. Because of this, we are giving out absolutely free seats to thank every Juan for their continued support.”

Iyog added, “This is another first in Philippine aviation history. In fact, no airline in Asia has done a seat sale like this before and we hope that the public will take advantage of this opportunity to travel by air.”

“We encourage everyone to act fast and book their absolutely free seats online now. Because you don’t need to pay for anything, you can even book seats for your friends and surprise them with a free trip.” she concluded.

Cebu Pacific is the country’s largest domestic carrier with flights to 27 domestic and 15 international destinations. The airline has operational hubs in Manila, Cebu, Davao, and Clark.

The absolute zero all-in fares are only available via www.cebupacificair.com or through travel agents using the Amadeus global distribution system.

    My friend was telling me about this before but I didn’t knew that it was totally free. I overlooked the word “all-in”. Good thing I had to book a flight to Davao and my friend reminded me about it again and explained it clearly. Through countless clicks of “Next Day” button, I was able to book a total of 25 flights for me, my friends and my family. I was able to help some friends who had long been planning to go back to their provinces to process papers. Woooo. Cebu Pacific is the man!
